Nancy O'Dell's debut work in the industry of broadcast was as a reporter/anchor at WPDE-TV Myrtle Beach South Carolina. Then she became an anchor and morning reporter at WCBD TV. O'Dell's reporting on the lax police response towards DUI cases in Charleston caused an investigation by State Law Enforcement Division, which resulted in a new direction from the state authorities on DUI cases. Ms. O'Dell was honored by her colleagues at the Associated Press with the Best Report of the Year Awards to all media South Carolina. Following her stint at Charleston, O'Dell worked as anchor for NBC's Miami Station WTVJ-TV as well as an investigative journalist. After that, she joined Access Hollywood to work as an anchor on weekends and weekdays. O'Dell anchors the main newscast for Access Hollywood. In addition she is a contributor to NBC News Today and Dateline NBC. She has reported on events like The Oscars The Emmys The Grammys The Golden Globe Awards and co-hosted the Pre ShowArrivals Programs during The Emmys. She also hosted Miss USA's pageant as well as the Miss Universe Pageant.
